Rockin and Rollin
It was our third trip to the hospital for the ultrasound and the longest one yet. Subabe was not in a very accommodating mood this week and kept rolling around in his pod. It took almost 15 minutes to get just a clean snapshot of his hands; and it was almost an hour before the nurse let MTB off the examination table. And she was quite ready to go. The poor thing - the nurse prodding her tummy with all that water in her… I don't envy her. Still the ultrasound technician was kind and nice, and made MTB as comfortable as she could possibly be made under the circumstances. The Perinatologist popped in towards the end of the session and said things are looking peachy and that Subabe might actually be a little ahead - now we already knew that. As part of the scheduled battery of tests we have to get a fetal heart study done soon. All in all he said that all signs are healthy... Knock on wood.
Achamma and Achoochan don't want to know what Subabe is packing, but we know now… Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails… You get the idea!
